My team and I were asked to select a Pacific Northwest brand that has an issue with its brand identity. Though we all love Portland Gear, we recognized that only people in Oregon know about this brand when it has the potential to go nationwide. Here’s what we did.

After my team and I did some research through their website and social media channels, we quickly found Portland Gear’s target audience.
The Problem We Found.
Despite Portland Gear’s trendy modern take on apparel and accessories, there were very few sales outside of Oregon. We wanted to do something that would change that.

In these print ads, we wanted to emphasize how Portland Gear supports the environment, and the money you spend isn’t just going back into the company. We wanted to demonstrate that Portland Gear is suitable for a wide range of environments, not just those with rain.
